A beautiful retreat on the outskirts of a busy port city, the Norfolk, Virginia botanic gardens hold the place of one of the most wonderful places I have ever had the chance to visit. They’re best viewed in early spring or all throughout summer, when their beauty blossoms to the fullest. Take a road trip, you won’t regret it.
